Sneak Peek: Design Trends at KBIS 2025

Get ready to be inspired by the newest kitchen and bath innovations taking center stage at KBIS 2025!

If there’s one place where the future of design meets the present, it’s at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS).

KBIS is the premiere North American kitchen and bath event, where designers, architects, manufacturers, and media members can put their fingers on the pulse of the industry.

Last year, over 117,000 visitors attended Design & Construction Week, which simultaneously hosts KBIS and the International Builders’ Show (IBS).

To get an idea of what to expect from KBIS 2025, my friend Cori took me on a guided tour of the Ferguson showroom located in the Dallas Design District.

What Trends to Expect at KBIS 2025

We filmed the entire tour and focused on the five biggest trends we found in Ferguson’s showroom.

Top 5 Design Trends at KBIS 2025

1. Grand Millennial

One trend we’re predicting will be at KBIS 2025 is the Grand Millennial style.

Grand Millennial is where traditional prints and patterns mix with contemporary faucets, sleek vanities, and bold light fixtures.

The revival of timeless touches gives spaces a warm, personalized feel.

The Grand Millennial style appeals to both nostalgic homeowners and new-wave design enthusiasts.

2. Vintage meets modern

Mid-century curves and angles are on their way in…

but they are coming with 21st-century efficiency.

Expect to see smart appliances like ovens that memorize your favorite settings, refrigerators with touchscreens, and induction ranges that cook faster than ever.

The perfect pairing of retro aesthetics and cutting-edge technology is sure to be a highlight on the show floor at KBIS 2025.

3. Color is back

Say goodbye to the all-white palette.

Colorful kitchens and baths are here to stay.

We’re talking

  • Deep jewel tones that add depth and drama
  • Soft pastels like mint vanities and blush-colored tile
  • Warmer metallic accents such as brass or copper contrast against darker cabinetry

Adding color is all about injecting personality into your space.

4. Custom organization

While aesthetics gets all the buzz, the old rule still stands: Form follows function.

That’s why we’re seeing vanities and countertops that conceal electrical outlets, including USB ports and outlets.

In addition to functionality, we’re also seeing design features like LED mirrors, under-cabinet lighting, and illuminated shelving.

Expect exhibitors at KBIS 2025 to showcase innovative solutions that keep clutter at bay while maintaining a sleek, design-forward look.

5. Smart appliances

The digital revolution is coming for your bathroom.

In the Ferguson showroom, Cori showed me all-in-one toilets with adjustable seat warmers, built-in bidet functions, and hands-free flushing.
